COVID-19 Update

HARRASSOWITZ Statement on COVID-19 / Erklärung zu COVID-19 / Déclaration sur COVD-19 (March 16, 2020)

The HARRASSOWITZ Management Board is closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and is pro-actively working to keep our staff, library and publisher partners, and vendor colleagues healthy and safe. Effective immediately, HARRASSOWITZ Sales Staff have been instructed to temporarily suspend all travel to conferences and on-site visits in order to minimize any possibility of infection or spread of the virus. The COVID-19 outbreak is not in any way currently effecting our commitment to, and fulfillment of, the highest level of service you've come to expect from us. We aim to keep communication as open and transparent as possible, and will promptly inform all of our business partners should any other changes to our routines be required to mitigate transmission of the virus. Die HARRASSOWITZ Geschäftsführung beobachtet die COVID-19-Pandemie genau und arbeitet proaktiv daran, die Gesundheit unserer Mitarbeiter sowie die unserer Kunden, Verlagspartner und Lieferanten zu schützen und für die Sicherheit aller zu sorgen. Mit sofortiger Wirkung setzt HARRASSOWITZ deshalb vorübergehend alle Reisen zu Konferenzen sowie Besuche vor Ort aus, um die Möglichkeit einer Infektion oder Verbreitung des Virus zu minimieren.
Unser Engagement und die Erfüllung des gewohnten Serviceniveaus sind derzeit durch den Ausbruch von COVID-19 noch in keiner Weise beeinträchtigt. Wir sind bestrebt, die Kommunikation so offen und transparent wie möglich zu gestalten und werden alle unsere Geschäftspartner umgehend informieren, falls weitere Änderungen unserer Service-Routinen erforderlich werden. Avec effet immédiat, HARRASSOWITZ suspend donc tous les voyages aux conférences et des visites client pour minimiser la possibilité d'une infection ou propagation du virus.
