Cambridge University Press to Launch Cambridge Core

Cambridge University Press will launch its new online platform, Cambridge Core, between mid-July and mid-August 2016. Cambridge Core will replace the following platforms as the new home for all academic content from Cambridge University Press and its partner publishers:

The previous platforms will no longer be accessible once Cambridge Core goes live. Redirects will be in place to maintain access to content. If you are using a proxy server you may want to update your proxy URL to the Cambridge Core URL to guarantee seamless access. Please note that if you currently have autologin links from your institution webpages to one of Cambridge’s current platforms, these will need to be updated as well. You should have been contacted by Cambridge University Press by now to ensure all of your URLs have been captured.

If you have an existing account as an administrator on one of the current Cambridge platforms, all information will automatically be transferred across to Cambridge Core. Please note that usernames will not exist on Cambridge Core. Your Cambridge Core login will be the email address associated with your administrator account. Please double-check that this email address is correct before the launch of the new platform.

Passwords from Cambridge Journals Online and Cambridge Books Online will not be migrated across to Cambridge Core. The first time you log in to the new platform, you will be asked to reset your password. This will then be your Cambridge Core password going forward.

If you do not yet have an account on any of the current Cambridge platforms, you will need to create a new account on Cambridge Core.

For questions about the transition to the new platform, please visit the Cambridge University Press FAQ page or contact service@harrassowitz.de or your Regional Sales Manager.
