The publisher just announced that an online edition will be made available in addition to the print. Subscribers may switch their standing order to the electronic edition if so desired. The electronic edition comes in a fairly simple pdf-file right now, but will in the fall of 2009 be switched to what the publisher calls e+ and this will include search and linking functions that will be made available for all reference works and dictionaries of de Gruyter.

Following extensive revision and updating, the Killy Literaturlexikon has begun publication in 2008 in a new and substantially enlarged edition. Each article has been rewritten and research been brought up-to-date throughout the encyclopedia.

The Killy includes bio-bibliographical articles about all of the important German-language authors from the Middle Ages to the present. It provides clear, reliable, and extensive in-formation on the life as well as on the works of each author. The Killy includes not only the well-known and important authors of each era, but also journalists, screenplay authors, literary scholars, and writers of specialist literature. The easy-to-read articles provide a synopsis of biographies, the historical context, and a survey of the oeuvre, in a fashion unparalleled by other lexica of German literature.

Please place standing orders through your normal library channels, or contact service@harrassowitz.de for further information.
