Final renewal reminder for HARRASSOWITZ subscription customers:

HARRASSOWITZ would like to thank those libraries that have returned their Annual Renewal Lists with instructions for the 2010 subscription year.

The first renewal invoice for subscription year 2010 will be dated Sept. 21, 2009, for all libraries that have not requested an extension or that are normally excluded from this invoice. This invoice will reflect all renewal instructions submitted through the Annual Renewal List, through OttoSerials, or by email, fax, or phone. For libraries whose subscriptions are on a "renew until forbid" basis, in the absence of any renewal instructions, HARRASSOWITZ will assume that there should be no changes or cancellations and will renew all subscriptions as currently on record.

It is important that libraries on an annual renewal basis who have not yet returned their Annual Renewal Lists do so as quickly as possible, since HARRASSOWITZ cannot guarantee that subscriptions will not be interrupted.

HARRASSOWITZ especially urges that instructions regarding format changes be sent as quickly as possible. Many libraries plan to change from print-only or print-plus-online to the online-only option, but if these requests are not received by October 1, 2009, HARRASSOWITZ cannot guarantee that the publishers will honor them.

Please remember that if cancellations are received after the library's subscriptions have been renewed, refunds will be provided only if HARRASSOWITZ receives a refund from the publisher. Refunds will not include any service charges already billed.
