Emerald e-book collections:

Emerald offers online access to over 600 titles in its two eBook Series collections, Emerald Business, Management and Economics eBook Series Collection, with over 60 book series, and Emerald Social Sciences eBook Series Collection with over 35 book series. An online organization-wide agreement allows unlimited institution-wide access, with immediate access to new volumes as they are published. Content is available in both PDF and HTML formats, and COUNTER-compliant usage statistics are provided.

Two purchase options are available: frontlist subscription and backlist purchase. With a frontlist subscription, access is provided to the entire backlist plus those issues published during the duration of the subscription. If a subscription is cancelled, subscribers retain perpetual access to those volumes published during the period of the subscription (but not to the backlist). At least 80 new volumes are expected to be added to the two collections during 2009 and 2010. The backlist purchase option is an outright purchase of the complete backlist, with perpetual access.
