(October 2007) New Subscription options for American Anthropological Association journals and database:
The American Anthropological Association’s journals, newsletters and online database AnthroSource, previously published by the University of California Press, will be published by Wiley-Blackwell starting in 2008. Journal subscriptions are available as either online only or print plus online. Print and discounted print subscriptions for subscribers to AnthroSource are no longer available. Previously, online access to the journals was available only as part of a subscription to the database AnthroSource. Starting in 2008, libraries can choose to subscribe to individual titles at either the print-plus-online or the online-only rate. AnthroSource, the AAA’s premier online resource serving the research, teaching, and professional needs of anthropologists, is available by separate subscription. Pricing is based on the following “tiers:” Tier 2 = baccalaureate colleges, specialized institutions Tier 3 = 2-year colleges, law libraries, medical libraries, high schools Tier 4 = tribal colleges, historically black colleges and universities, Canadian Arctic colleges and First Nation colleges Online journals will be available via Blackwell Synergy at the beginning of 2008. AnthroSource will continue to be hosted by Atypon in 2008. A complete price list for AAA journals and AnthroSource. If you currently subscribe to AnthroSource please confirm that you want us to renew your subscription to this online only database with Wiley-Blackwell for 2008.
