Mozart Operas in Facsimile:

To celebrate the 250th anniversary of Mozart’s birth, the Packard Humanities Institute began a project to publish facsimile editions of the autograph manuscript scores of Mozart’s last seven operas in 2006.

Each opera comes in a three-volume bibliophile set (hard cover with genuine leather spines): two volumes of full-size facsimiles in color plus an introductory volume.

Three operas are currently available: Idomeneo, Le nozze di Figaro, and Così fan tutte. The remaining four titles will follow during 2008: Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Don Giovanni, Die Zauberflöte, and La clemenza di Tito.
