Improved "checked titles" feature in OttoEditions:

HARRASSOWITZ is pleased to announce a new enhancement to OttoEditions that will simplify the management of your search results. OttoEditions is the HARRASSOWITZ online database of monographs and music scores.

The "check titles" feature in OttoEditions has been expanded to allow you to check records from multiple pages of a search result rather than checking records from only one results page at a time. It is also possible to add records from another search to an existing group of checked records. After you have checked some records, you may

1. Order all the checked titles
2. Select all the checked titles
3. Review the order history of all the checked titles
4. E-mail all the checked titles to yourself or someone else

The e-mail feature is especially useful when creating lists that might be used for

1. Entering orders into the library's ILS
2. Suggesting future purchases
3. Deferring purchases
4. Alerting library users about new acquisitions

1. Building bibliographies based on a variety of criteria

Each e-mailed title contains a link to the OttoEditions record, which may be used for viewing enhanced descriptions or for ordering the title. E-mailed titles can be forwarded to other colleagues for further actions.
