The Acquisitions Institute at Timberline Lodge is dedicated to issues surrounding library acquisitions, collection development, and technical services. The professional but informal Timberline Lodge conference takes place every May at the historical Timberline Lodge on the slopes of Mt. Hood and draws an audience primarily of academic librarians, vendors, and publishers.
