HARRASSOWITZ E-Stats Service for Libraries:

HARRASSOWITZ is pleased to announce the official launch of HARRASSOWITZ E-Stats for Libraries, the latest addition to HARRASSOWITZ´s HERMIS services for libraries. HERMIS (HARRASSOWITZ Electronic Resources Management and Information Solutions) provides a complete suite of services in support of the e-resources workflow.

HARRASSOWITZ E-Stats service consolidates your library´s e-journal usage statistics from multiple publishers and/or platforms into a single COUNTER-style spreadsheet. The most significant feature of this service is the addition of acquisitions information for those titles subscribed to through HARRASSOWITZ. The HARRASSOWITZ E-Stats report indicates the amount paid by the library for each subscription, with an annotation clearly indicating when a title has been ordered as part of a package or combination. This gives the library the best possible picture of the cost per journal, even when the journal is part of a package or combination. Further acquisitions information such as PO number, HARRASSOWITZ subscription number, fund code, and current order status is also included.

In addition, HARRASSOWITZ E-Stats service can be used to add acquisitions data to COUNTER reports that have already been consolidated, either by the library itself or by a third party.

Libraries may elect to include as many platforms as they wish in their HARRASSOWITZ E-Stats service. Reports can be produced annually, biannually or quarterly. HARRASSOWITZ E-Stats can also be ordered for databases and e-books.
