Did You Know That HARRASSOWITZ Offers Virtual Approval Plans for Music Scores?
Libraries that are considering a Music Score Approval Plan (MSAP) have the option to first establish a temporary Virtual Approval Plan for Music Scores. Instead of supplying the actual scores, records for scores that have been selected based on an approval plan profile are sent in the form of New Title Announcements. Libraries can then review the items selected and approve the items for purchase. The Virtual Approval Plan enables libraries to verify the selection process for an Approval Plan and to refine their profile. The records for the selected items can also be reviewed in OttoEditions, the online management system for monographs and music scores. After a trial period, the virtual approval plan can be converted into a true approval plan.
