Did You Know that Dr. Knut Dorn Received a Certificate of Appreciation from the ALCTS?
At the 2011 ALA Annual Meeting in New Orleans, Dr. Knut Dorn, former Managing Director of HARRASSOWITZ, was honored by the Association for Library Collections & Technical Services (ALCTS) with a Certificate of Appreciation. The certificate reads:
Knut Dorn has been, for many years, a valued supporter of ALCTS through his generous donations and sponsorship of the Acquisitions Section Leadership in Library Acquisitions Award. His leadership and sound management of HARRASSOWITZ has benefited libraries across the globe. So in honor of his work, the Leadership in Library Acquisitions Award will be re-named the HARRASSOWITZ Award for Leadership in Library Acquisitions in honor of Dr. Knut Dorn.
